About
1st Choice Grease Service LLC is a woman-owned and operated grease trap cleaning and used cooking oil recycling company based in Cleveland, TX, serving the greater Houston area and surrounding communities since 2005. The company handles commercial grease trap pumping using current industry equipment, offering free estimates for new accounts. Regulatory Context
FOG Compliance in Texas
Texas food service operators must comply with FOG pretreatment regulations under the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and local sewer utilities. Dallas Water Utilities, Houston Public Works, San Antonio Water System (SAWS), and Austin Water maintain robust FOG Control Programs. Requirements typically include grease interceptor installation sized to local standards, pumping every 30–90 days, use of TCEQ-registered waste haulers, electronic manifest submission in many jurisdictions, and three-year record retention. Texas's large food service industry and warm climate create elevated FOG risk, making compliance programs especially active.More Contractors in Texas
