About
Acme Environmental Services is a family-owned grease trap and septic operator serving Central and Eastern Florida from its base in Mims (Brevard County). Founded in 1989, the company provides grease trap cleaning, installation, and maintenance for commercial kitchens alongside full-service septic solutions including tank installation, pump-outs, drainfield work, and system inspections. Service coverage spans Brevard, Volusia, Seminole, and Orange counties, extending into the greater Orlando metro. The team holds Florida DOH licence SR0111692 and participates in state and county environmental grant programs for septic upgrades. Same familiar field crews on every visit — no rotating contractors or impersonal dispatch.

Regulatory Context
FOG Compliance in Florida
Florida food service facilities are governed by FOG pretreatment rules under the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and local utility authorities. Miami-Dade Water and Sewer, JEA (Jacksonville), Tampa Bay Water, and Orange County Utilities all operate formal FOG Control Programs. Requirements typically include interceptor installation and sizing per local code, pumping every 30–90 days depending on usage, certified hauler manifests, and three-year record retention. Florida's warm climate can accelerate FOG buildup, making more frequent maintenance critical.More Contractors in Florida
