About

Aqua Drain is a locally owned Ottawa-area sewer, drain, and grease trap specialist serving commercial kitchens, restaurants, institutions, and municipal clients. The company offers grease trap cleaning with scheduled or emergency pumping, full trap cleaning, and FOG compliance reporting, alongside grease trap installation, repair, high-pressure line jetting, and automated treatment system maintenance. Additional services include septic pumping, lift-station service, hydro-jetting, video inspection, and 24/7 emergency response across the Ottawa area and surrounding communities. Operating since 2004, the company has grown to a fleet of 47 trucks staffed by experienced technicians. Customers report prompt response times and thorough technical explanations during service calls, though one review flagged pricing transparency concerns on a grease trap job.

FOG Compliance in Ontario

Commercial food service establishments in Ontario are required to install and maintain grease traps or grease interceptors to prevent fats, oils, and grease (FOG) from entering the municipal sewer system. Regular maintenance schedules and pumping records may be required by local authorities. Contact your local municipality or wastewater authority for specific compliance requirements in your area.
