FOG Compliance in New York
New York food service facilities operate under rigorous FOG pretreatment requirements from the NY State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and local authorities. New York City's DEP enforces strict grease interceptor requirements for all food service establishments, with specific sizing guidelines, mandatory cleaning schedules, licensed grease hauler requirements, and electronic record submission. Upstate utilities including Buffalo Water Authority, Albany MWD, and Rochester Pure Waters maintain similar programs. Non-compliance in NYC can result in fines exceeding $10,000 per violation.More Contractors in New York
