Regulatory Context

FOG Compliance in Nevada

Nevada food service operators must meet FOG pretreatment requirements under the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) and local utilities. Las Vegas Valley Water District/Clark County Water Reclamation District, City of Reno's Public Works, and Henderson Utilities enforce interceptor sizing, maintenance schedules, and record retention. Las Vegas's high restaurant density creates particular enforcement focus on large-volume food service operations.
