Why symptoms are not a fill gauge

The 25% rule is not universal

Restaurant staff should not open an interceptor or remove a cover under a generic online instruction. OSHA identifies cover, fall, gas, engulfment, and possible confined-space hazards. Do not enter, reach into, or lean over an access opening.

- note when the symptom began and whether it changed after recent service;
